Scholarships in Israel

To create understanding, building bridges and making meetings between people possible is part of the essence of our work. All persons equal right to education is another.

The Robert Weil Family Foundation work close to educational institutions and schools in Israel to identify individuals from the Arab Palestinian sector to award with scholarships. The goal is to give students the opportunity to focus on their creative practice, gain support and exposure for their work, while upholding their distinct identities. The voices of this particular group are of great importance. Belonging to the Arab Palestinian sector in Israel they are being part of two parallel worlds and have a unique position in society as communicators. The Robert Weil Family Foundation believe in the importance to support these voices and help them continue being artists.

Hala Abu Kishek is one of the awarded students. The scholarship made it possible for her to attend the art education at Shenkar CollegeĀ of Engineering, Design and Art in Israel.
