Building bridges across culture and society
The Robert Weil Family Foundation is a private, independent foundation that operates at the intersection of culture, education, and democratic engagement. It enables strategic initiatives that contribute to a sustainable, equal, and just society. By building long-term partnerships across its fields of engagement, the foundation aims to create an arena for learning, analysis, innovation, and the exchange of ideas.
The foundation was established in 2014 by Robert Weil. It is based in Stockholm but operates both in Sweden and internationally. Our work builds on Robert Weil’s lifelong commitment to culture and society, previously pursued through his companies Weil Invest and its successor Proventus AB. We support initiatives within the fields of fine arts, drama, and dance, as well as projects devoted to democracy, education, the environment, and bridging divides across politics, identities, and religions.
