The Per Ahlmark Foundation

The Per Ahlmark Foundation was founded 2009 by Proventus. It was created to celebrate his 70th birthday on the 15th of January 2008.

As a politician and author and through his role in forming public opinion, Per Ahlmark made a unique contribution to the fight for democracy and against totalitarian teachings and anti-Semitism. The purpose of the foundation is to promote scientific research and education in political science, economy and the history of ideas and Jewish history, with a particular emphasis on democracy and human rights. The foundation achieves this primarily by arranging seminars and publishing opinion editorials. The board of the foundation consits of Robert Weil, Henrik Bachner and Birgitta Olsson.
