In 1986, Claude Lanzmann's documentary Shoah had its Swedish premiere and now, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust, the film is once again premiering in cinemas. This time in collaboration between Folkets Bio, the Robert Weil Family Foundation and Sweden's Holocaust Museum. On January 27th, together with ABF Stockholm, we present a full day of talks and screenings of the film.
On October 25, Ohad Naharin taught an online Gaga class in support of Standing Together, a grassroots movement bringing together Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel working for peace, justice and equality, which the Robert Weil Family Foundation proudly champions. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Standing Together.

That is the core message of It’s Time - an unprecedented coalition of 60 Israeli peacebuilding and shared society organizations. On May 8-9, the coalition will host the People’s Peace Summit in Jerusalem, bringing together thousands of people to envision and advance a peaceful future in the region.

The Robert Weil Family Foundation has decided to end its partnership with Berättarministeriet (Ministry of Storytelling). The decision to part is grounded in the fact that Berättarministeriet today has grown into a nationwide organisation that stands firmly on its own two feet with a rich variety of funders, not least from public institutions.
Standing Together is the largest Jewish-Arab grassroots movement in Israel and has played a leading role in Israel fighting for a shared future with no occupation and peace for all. Now their spokespersons, Rula Daood and Alon-Lee Green will come to Stockholm for a talk about human rights, equality and peace activism. An event initiated by Olof Palmes International Center, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern and The Robert Weil Family Foundation.
