Magasin III Jaffa

Magasin III Jaffa is an exhibition space in Tel Aviv. Its work is rooted in the belief that empowering artists and providing them with a platform not only strengthens the cultural field but also positions art as a catalyst for dialogue, reflection, and positive change.

Magasin III Museum for Contemporary Art

Energized by the vital New York art scene in the 80’s, Robert Weil and David Neuman understood that Magasin III would be a phenomenal addition to the Stockholm culture scene. ”We have always started with an idea and almost never asked: ’Is this possible?’”

EcoOcean

EcoOcean is an environmental organization founded in Israel 2002 by Andreas Weil and the Weil family, dedicated to marine research and education with the primary vision to create a healthy, non-polluted environment in the Eastern Mediterranean. The Robert Weil Family foundation is committed to its long term funding.

The Jewish Theatre

The Jewish Theatre was from 1995 to 2015 situated in an old skittle alley in the royal park Djurgården in Stockholm. When the theatre left the building a new era entered. Today the Jewish Theatre exists through new initiatives taken by former artistic director and theatre manager Pia Forsgren and the Robert Weil Family Foundation.

Batsheva Dance Company

Since 1998 the Weil family is a long term partner, supporting the salaries of Batsheva dancers. A close friendship and collaboration that has strengthened the company’s uncompromising quality and made Batsheva Dance Company one of the leading contemporary companies in the world.

Haifa University

Head of Arts Departement Sharon Poliakine says: By diversifying our teaching faculty to reflect the rich tapestry of our students and broader society, we create an environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. The Arab student’s educational experience will profoundly be enriched when they will have the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of teachers, drawing inspiration from a spectrum of cultural and artistic perspectives. Accelerator

As an institution within Stockholm University, Accelerator is an exhibition space where art, science and social issues converge. The mission of Accelerator is to engage actively with society, producing exhibitions presenting international and Swedish contemporary art.

Melchior Social Initiative

The model of religious peace, being faithful to one belief, being confident in the limitations and modesty of one’s existence towards G-d and fellowman, makes it possible to build new coalitions, give a new hope for peace and a partnership of values in the Middle East and all over the world.

The Jewish Museum in Stockholm

A new incarnation of the museum saw the light of day, and Stockholm gained a place for conversations concerning the most important issue of our time—the conditions and strategies of integration.

Beckmans College of Design

For the Robert Weil Family Foundation this step was the result of a more than 15-year-long collaboration with Beckmans- but more importantly, of 40 years of working in the field of design, craftsmanship, education and industry in various ways.

Shalompodden

Shalompodden offers a response to calls for boycotts, and aims at strengthening positive forces that are needed more than ever. The podcast series is made by two Swedes living in Israel: Sandra Weil and Jonatan Macznik.

Weil Foundation Film Fund

In partnership with the Robert Weil Family Foundation, the Department of Film Studies at Beit Berl College in Israel has established the Weil Foundation Film Fund. The Weil Foundation Film Fund is aimed at engaging the Palestinian Israeli community in the area film, enrolling and supporting Palestinian Israeli students of film in their studies and practice.

Ulrica Hydman Vallien Foundation

In 2019, the Vallien family, Orrefors Kosta Boda and the Robert Weil Family Foundation established a foundation in memory of Ulrica Hydman Vallien to continue the legacy of her work.

Feel Beit – an arts center

When everything else breaks down, art breaks through. The Robert Weil Family Foundation is a supporter of FeelBeit, an Israeli-Palestinian arts center on Jerusalem’s East-West border. FeelBeit is a sacred partnership between Israeli and Palestinian creatives who are determined to prototype a better future for their land.

MTZ prize

The MTZ Prize was established in 2018 in memory of Mikael T Zielinski. It is a scholarship awarded to a person or institution working in Mikael’s spirit.

Berättarministeriet

An organization with the mission to inspire children aged 8-18 in under-privileged areas to conquer the written word.

The Per Ahlmark Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is to promote scientific research and education in political science, economy and the history of ideas and Jewish history, with a particular emphasis on democracy and human rights.

Friends

Through careful analysis of the world around us, we identify areas that require attention. Today, our main focus is on defending democracy, and among the activists working in this field, we find our friends.

Zulat

An activist think tank that fight back by working to uphold democracy and human rights.

Comrade Dov

Dov Khenin has been called damned communist aswell as privileged Tel Aviv Ashkenazi. For years, director Barak Heymann followed this leading legislator, creating a film that examines the open wounds of contemporary Israeli society.

Mr Gaga

Mr Gaga premiered in October 2015 and is one of the few documentaries that have exceeded an audience of 100 000 in its homeland Israel. The film was in November 2016 nominated to the Europeean Documentary Award.

EXPO

Defends the democratic society against the threat posed by racism.

Taikon

She was called the Martin Luther King of Sweden. The documentary about Katarina Taikon portrays one of our most beloved author and human rights activists.

The Swedish Committee Against Antisemitism

Works to disseminate knowledge about antisemitism and other forms of racism.

High Maintenance

The Israeli artist Dani Karavan passed in May 2021. Karavan created art installations all across the world, amongst others the monument of Walter Benjamin in Portbou in Spain. This documentary portrays an artist far from satisfied. His structures are rapidly deteriorating.

1947 – This is where now begins

Work in progress. Filmmaker Staffan Julén will create a tapestry of events around the world from that very special year based on the book by Elisabeth Åsbrink. 1947, the year that gave birth to the concept of ‘crimes against humanity’.
